Human Resources & Compliance Manager
Full-Time | Salaried | Greenville, TX
What You'll Do
- Run full-cycle hiring for CDL drivers, batch plant operators, mechanics, dispatchers, and office staff
- Onboard every new hire the right way: I-9, W-4, E-Verify, drug testing, and safety orientation covering OSHA, MSHA, and DOT
- Make sure every CDL driver is qualified and documented per FMCSA and DOT standards before they roll
- Be the go-to for employee concerns, performance reviews, and corrective action at both plants
- Keep the Employee Handbook, personnel files, benefits enrollment, FMLA, ADA accommodations, and workers’ comp in order
- Own compliance: Texas Payday Law, FLSA, EEO-1 reporting, OSHA 300 logs, and a DOT-compliant drug and alcohol program with FMCSA Clearinghouse reporting
- Spot where our established processes can run tighter, and make it happen
Schedule & Travel
Full-time and in person, based out of our Greenville office with regular travel to our Trenton plant. You will split time between the office and the plant, yard, and dispatch areas at both sites.
- Comfortable working in an active industrial environment
- Able to sit, stand, and move throughout office and plant areas
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs for filing and supplies
- Ready for Texas weather when visiting operational areas
What It Takes
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent progressive HR experience
- 3 to 5 years of HR management or generalist experience, ideally in construction, concrete, manufacturing, or an industrial setting
- Working knowledge of Texas employment law, the Texas Payday Law, and TWC processes
- Solid understanding of DOT/FMCSA regulations for CDL-required industries
- Experience running drug and alcohol testing programs in a DOT-regulated environment
- Talks just as easily with plant operators and drivers as with ownership
- Handles confidential matters with discretion, every time
- Proficient with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and HR recordkeeping software
Bonus points if you bring:
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience in ready mix, aggregate, or heavy construction materials
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience at a small-to-mid-size company where HR is self-directed
Compensation & Benefits
$51,319.70 to $61,804.37 per year, based on experience.

AMCorp operates two ready mix concrete facilities in Northeast Texas.
Most roles are based at one facility, while some support both sites with regular travel between Greenville and Trenton. Each listing notes its primary work location.
